It is written: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord will accomplish this."  -Isaiah 9:6,7

BARUCH HABAH BASHEM ADONAI
(Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord)

"We desire that all of the people of the world come to know the salvation of Jesus Christ of Yeshua our Messiah. For it is truly the heart of our Father God that Jews and Gentiles, men and women, and young and old can come together and unite to call forth the second coming of Messiah (Romans 11). It is our hope that we may all work together in love and preparation for that day when our Messiah returns we would be found standing and working together as the bride that He has destined us to be. Our world wide and local outreach ministries work toward that end." House of David Ministries

These and so many other verses of the Bible have one overriding message-- as Christians we have a Biblical obligation to defend Israel and the Jewish people in their time of need.

A Match Made In Heaven- Journalist and author Zev Chafets offers a Jewish perspective on the growing bond between Israel and evangelical Christians. Rabbi Eckstein says the book builds “a strong case for the alliance between Christians and Jews,” and praises it for reaffirming that “the overwhelming majority of evangelical Christians have a pure heart and no hidden agendas when it comes to support for Israel.” You’ll enjoy the author’s careful and well-written analysis of the growing relationship of cooperation and mutual respect between Jews and Christians—a bridge that Rabbi Eckstein has played a leading role in forging for the past quarter century!  www.ifcj.org

(Y'SHUA) YESHUA is the Hebrew name of the MESSIAH, the SON of GOD, the SAVIOR of the world.  Translated as Jesus in the English Bible, YESHUA is the Name above every name (Philippians 2:9-11) and means "Salvation Now!"

"Torah is a tree of life for those who take hold of it." -Proverbs 3:18

“The Jewish people gave to us the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The prophets, Elijah, Daniel, Zechariah, etc—not a Baptist in the bunch. Every word in your Bible was written by Jewish hands. The first family of Christianity, Mary, Joseph, and Jesus, were Jewish. Jesus Christ, a Jewish rabbi from Nazareth, made this statement: “Salvation is of the Jews.” The point is this: If you take away the Jewish contribution to Christianity, there would be no Christianity.” STANDING With ISRAEL, David Brog

"In a true sense, Judaism is the Mother faith of Christianity. ... A new day is dawning in the relations between Christians and Jews.  And one of the most fruitful areas for exploration of common beliefs and hopes, religious ideals and aspirations of Judaism and Christianity, is surely that which is now often covered by the term, "the Judaeo-Christian  tradition." -Basic Christian Beliefs, Frederick C. Grant, ©1960

When asked why he so staunchly supports Israel, Pastor John Hagee speaks of a “biblical mandate to bless the Jews” and of a Christian “debt of gratitude” to the Jewish people. Pastor Hagee notes that:

Jesus was Jewish. His disciples were Jewish. In the prevailing Christian view, the Bible was written by forty authors. Of these, thirty-nine were Jewish. The fortieth, Luke, was likely a convert to Judaism.  None of the earliest Christians believed that they were starting a new religion. They merely sought to spread the news that Jewish prophecy had been fulfilled by the arrival of the Jewish Messiah. -STANDING With ISRAEL, David Brog

Saul of Tarsus who became Apostle Paul of the New Testament was “born of Jewish parents of the tribe of Benjamin … and studied under the famous Jewish rabbi, Gamaliel, in Jerusalem.”  He was to impact the Christian experience after his dramatic conversion after Jesus’ voice asked “Saul, Saul! Why do you persecute me?” (See Acts 22:1-21). Paul wrote epistles 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galations, Colossians, Philemon, Ephesians, Philippians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, and Titus. -Dictionary of the Saints, John J. Delaney

The following is an excerpt of when the Church of Yeshua/Jesus Christ was first “hijacked”- VHS tape: The Reconciliation Walk, From Europe to Jerusalem (1999); Defusing the bitter Legacy of the Crusades... and lessons for today:

“In the 4th century [A.D.], emperor of the Roman Empire by the name Constantine who report[ed] that one afternoon he fell into a trance and had a dream or a vision.  He saw a great jewel encrusted cross. And he heard the words “conquer by this.”   He awoke from his dream He called his generals and his goldsmiths together and he ordered them all to take their ceremonial spears and to make crosses of them and then to go out to battle with this cross at the head.  Of course, in one day he completely subverted the meaning of the cross. But he went on from there with his empire to seduce the "church" with power. The one thing that persecution and even martyrdom that had been the mark of the church since its inception was unable to do, he did with power. The laws which the State used to persecute Christianity were now used by the “church” to persecute all others.  And so the stage was set for on going centuries of abusive power by something called the “church”. From then on the virus of human power has affected the Church [of Yeshua/ Christ Jesus]. But today it seems that somehow God, by His Spirit, is drawing millions people back to centrality of Jesus Christ. His example, and his teachings.”
