Calling the Nations to repentance- this website is for a mature public   The Verdict    Be Born Again

Did You Know?

As you walk up the steps to the building which houses the U.S. Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view... it is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments!

As you enter the Supreme Court  courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.

As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall, right above where the Supreme Court judges sit, a display of the Ten Commandments!

James Madison, fourth president, known as "The Father of our Constitution" made the following statement:  "We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."

Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies.

The very first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, said: "Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers."

Yale (Law) College's primary goal in the early 1700's:  "Every student shall consider the main end of his study... to know God in Christ Jesus and answerably to lead a Godly, sober life."

Morality in Government

Excerpts: 85th Congress, 2D Session, House Document No. 412

In the crucial struggle being waged today for the minds and souls of men, two rival philosophies of government have staked out their claims. One is a philosophy which considers man a slave of the state. The other is a philosophy of freedom
-whose proud boast is that, “Government of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth”.
No one knows what the future will bring. The Communists have proclaimed that before the turn of this present century their philosophy of slavery will prevail in worldwide triumph.  However, this I know—that God planned for man freedom and peace, and not serfdom and war. The Communists reject God, and for God’s commandments they substitute a code of inhumanity and force, rending ties of blood and heart, brewing fresh wars in the devil’s cauldron of hates. Communists know neither truth nor faith nor charity nor justice. Their women, no less than their God-hating men, are pitiless and ruthless, and mothers teach their children as they themselves were taught, to deny God and live, not by His commandments, but by the cold, cruel cult of brutality. Americans must be alerted to the perils of the present by the evils of the past, and realize that the survival of America’s freedom is actually at stake!
This impressive public document has been prepared to acquaint the American people with the duties and importance of the House of Representatives, that essentially democratic assembly which is one of the bastions of our country’s freedom. It is one of our manifold blessings that the people have a direct voice in the election of those who make our laws and direct the affairs of our Government, for, thus can all informed, God-loving Americans united in the common bond of freedom, be prepared to defend America against her foresworn enemy—atheistic Communism! -Frances Cardinal Spellman,
Archbishop of New York

In the Capital, the national building that represents every American, the Prayer Room speaks to each individual heart. All inhabitants of this land, whosever their race, creed, or color, enjoy full religious liberty. All are brothers, alike children of the one Divine Father.
The Prayer Room and the daily opening of Congress with prayer, symbolize this unifying brotherhood under God, and the recognition by the Nation as a whole of the need of divine guidance and blessing in the conduct of its affairs.  In this sense the Nation has chosen as its spiritual motto “in God we trust.” -Rabbi David de Sola Pool,
Shearith Israel Synagogue, Neat York City
